2019 NSJTA and NSNTA Season 1

Registration for the 2019 Season 1 NSJTA (Juniors) and NSNTA (Seniors) competitions are now open.

Registration forms and competition fees are due back on:

• NSJTA juniors - Saturday 7.30pm, 3rd Nov
• NSNTA seniors - Tuesday 7.30pm, 6th Nov

Payment can be made electronically to Deer Park Tennis Club Inc. BSB 063253, Account 1095 6580.

NOTE, only entries with payment of fees and current club membership will be considered in the team selection. Late payments and registrations will not be accepted.

2018 Spring Allcourt Challenge

The 2018 DPTC Spring Allcourt Challenge will be held in October.

Entries will close on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 7:30pm.

It will be scheduled for:

• Saturday, 6th October (juniors singles/doubles and seniors singles events); and
• Tuesday 9th October (seniors doubles events)

Entries are now open.

NSJTA 2018 Season 2 - Fixture Collection

Dear Members,

A notice that the 2018 Season 2 NSJTA fixtures will be available for collection on Tuesday, July 17 from 7pm.

All junior players involved are invited to come to collect their fixtures and to meet up with their teammates before the start of the season. Team managers are asked to attend to collect the Competition folders and to also meet up with the team members.

Competition & membership fees

Dear Members,

Just wanted to remind you that many members have still not yet paid for their Spring Season 2, 2018 NSJTA/NSNTA fees and many memberships are also due. There are still a few players who have not paid their current (Season 1, 2018) competition fees.

Please note that for future seasons, the committee will be taking into consideration whether members/players have payed their membership and competition fees on time when selecting teams. Competition/Membership fees go back to the club in the form of court and clubhouse maintenance/development and trophies so please make sure to get the fees sorted out as as soon as possible!

Also a reminder that registrations for the Queen's Birthday tournament will be open until June 5. You can download the entry form here.

NSNTA Update - some great news!

Dear Members,

Passing on some great news from our NSNTA teams.

The B Grade 1 team: Kelami Ata, Elton Farrugia, Nick Harvey, Stuart Leslie, Vishnu Padayachee, John Hendi and Leon Kalavrianos placed 4th for the season and made it to the semi-finals. It was a great effort by the team but they lost to the eventual premiers Green Gully.

This season the C Reserve 4 team: Neil McVey, Matthew Bazaluk, Jack Archer, Dylan Bruzzese, Mark Bruzzese and Greg Fattore placed 1st overall for the season. The team comfortably beat Doutta Galla in the semis and Delahey in the grand finals to claim the premiership.

This has been the first senior premiership since the B5 Mens team in Spring 2015.
Congratulations to the B Grade 1 team for reaching the finals and the C Reserve 4 team for their grand finals win!

All of the teams have put in a great effort this season, hopefully this can spur some new players and some of the juniors to take up senior tennis in the near future.

Good luck to the juniors who will be playing in their finals in the coming weeks!
